Using the Trip Planner

Searching for travel options. Begin by typing an address into the 'From' box or clicking on a point on the map. Then select your destination from the drop-down menu. You can alternately select a recently-used location by clicking on the house or office markers on the map. To change the direction of the trip, click the reverse button. To start your search, click the magnifying glass.

Viewing your results. After you've run a search, relevant results will be displayed below the search box. Click on a row to see details such as transit directions or contact information for a rideshare.

Expanding a search. To expand your search, use the slider bars to change the departure window or the distance you are wiling to travel from your start point. This is a quick way to get back more search results.

Using the Commute Calendar

You can use the commute calendar to track and report your daily use of alternative commute methods. This data will be shared with your program administrators, and will be included in program-wide statistics.

Reporting a commute. Grab an icon from the buttom of your calendar, and drag it to the day in question. When the 'drop target' on the day illuminates, drop the icon to report your commute.

Deleting a commute. To delete a commute, right-click on the commute in question (on a Mac, click while holding the 'ctrl' key) and select 'Delete Commute' from the pop-up menu.

Moving a commute. To move a day's worth of reported commutes, simploy drag the calendar day to a new date.

Copying a commute. To copy a commute, drag the day you'd like to copy to the new date while holidng the 'alt' key on your keyboard. On Macs, you'll need to hold the 'option' key.
